My largest project: SIGNIFY.AI
A tech-enabled complete solution to help deaf and/or mute people communicate, learn and grow.
SIGNIFY.AI is a AI based device that converts from American Sign Language (ASL) to speech/text and vice versa.
Since its launch, SIGNIFY has been adopted by several institutions thanks to appreciation from their principals and multiple professors.
Also, its simple 3D-printed body and several other cost-cutting methods (like efficient algorithms that require less RAM on the processor) significantly lower its cost.

The device has also been made with a straightforward UI allowing individuals to learn its working in less than 5 minutes. It also has LEDs and labels everywhere to guide individuals.

A research paper outlining the development of the device has been accepted in a reputed peer-reviewed journal International JETIR. The device also has a patent in process.

Sanchit has collaborated with Professor Priyam Parikh from Nirma University to develop this device and is now working with principals of NGOs (7 in his city, 9 more worldwide) to improve this device and deploy it permanently.

My latest project: Hearing Aid Donation Drive
I recently went to Bahera Munga Shala (School for Deaf & Mutes) where I carried out a few activities:

-
Donated hearing aids based on each student's audiogram we took prior.
-
Interacted with deaf and mute children through sign language
-
Showed them a demo of SIGNIFY and later communicated normally thanks to the device
-
Presented the device to the core faculty of the institution
-
Pitched to some other individuals who were there in an attempt to raise funds for the initiative
